Men are so tough!!
My second card made for the 'birthday fairy' scheme at work. I don't know why, I always seem to struggle with men's cards! None of my stamps are all that manly and I struggle when it comes to inspiration for men. Unless they have a sporting hobby then I find it near impossible.... what makes it harder for me on these ones for work is that I only started with the company in July and don't really know their personalities all that well. If anyone has any tips on making any 'fun' or 'exciting' general mens cards then please....HELP!!!!
Anyway, seeing as though I went to the effort of making again, I thought it would be rude to not enter it into a challenges and recently discovered Lexi's Creations and so put it forward to Challenge #25- Birthdays!

Sparkle challenge #1
| My Sparkle Challenge card!!! |
My first challenge card complete! After visiting the Sparkle Dreams shop a few weeks ago, I couldn't resist seeing what the whole blogging thing is about. I so enjoyed doing this sketch as well. What with the sparkles and flowers theme, it meant that I could raid so much of my craft box.....IT WAS GREAT!
I've already got the perfect recipient of this card as well, as today I was told I'm the new 'Birthday Fairy' at work and have just a week to rally the troops at work to get their responses to go into this very card.
I must say I got a little carried away and used the same sketch for another card, which looks great (although less sparkles)!

My first ever blog!
Well this is a tad scary.....
Ok to explain what I'm about. I start making cards when I was still in my late teens as a way to avoid paying the ridiculous prices in the card shops. I now just seem to spend a ridiculous amount of money on filling my craft boxes! I don't hone in on just one type of card making as you'll eventually work out looking at some of my work.
| This butterfly was so simple and can be used in so many ways. |
I am also very passionate about photography and try to incorporate there to make something truly unique and as momentos for those people I give them to.
For me, having something unique is really important and a few years back took my crafting one step further and started making jewellery for myself.
Hopefully I'll be able to share in ideas with anyone who wants to.
